Edo Police put measures in place for “Ember months” and upcoming Yuletide

The police in Benin has advised parents and guardians to warn their wards to stay away from crime, criminality and other clandestine activities.
In a release made available to newsmen in Benin and signed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chidi Nwabuzor, Police Public Relations Officer, for Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, stated that any person or group of persons found culpable will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
The command also reiterated that proactive measures have been put in place to ensure the protection of lives and properties of the people of Edo State most especially during this “Ember Months” and the upcoming Yuletide.
The citizens are advised not to panic but go about their lawful business, as the Commissioner of Police, Edo State CP Johnson Babatunde Kokumo by the grace of God assures of peace and tranquility in the state before, during and after the Christmas season.
