PDP Leader Chief Dan Osi Orbih transits at 65

As the ‘curtain falls’ for the Kulu kulu I of Africa, commentators say it brings to an end a political career spanning several decades during which he played major roles in Edo State politics and the PDP at state, zonal and national levels. For Wike, the transition of Orbih is the fall of one of the biggest trees in the political forest of Edo State, lamenting he had lost a close friend and dependable political ally. In a condolence statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Prince Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie, the APC described Orbih as a distinguished elder statesman, respected political leader and committed member of the PDP whose contributions transcended partisan boundaries.

On the Summit Junction to this Head Bridge, we gave it to the contractor called Hartland and we paid them, I think, up to N14 billion. “We reached an agreement that they would finish the 11 kilometres from the Summit Junction to this bridge with the money and do the channelisation and hydraulic structures. “But today, they have done just about 40 percent of the agreement,” Umahi said obviously angry. “I am going to look for him to arrest him. Controller, you look for the MD of Hartland and arrest him.”
