A primary five pupil of Olomuza primary school, Useh, Master Lucky Ekhator has been awarded scholarship for his innovative feat by the Chairman Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia.
Ekhator overwhelmed the Chairman and members of her entourage when she visited the school recently, with his invention of a blender, wheel – barrow, and functional prototype tricycle (Keke Napep).
The items produced by the pupil were powered by rechargeable phone battery.
Also, a primary six pupil of the same school, master Clinton Ogierakhe presented a gift of a key Holder he personally manufactured to the Chairman.
The excited Chairman in reaction stated that it was very possible to get the best brains from public schools if only the proper materials of modern learning were availed them.
“With the right mix of tools and education, the pupils in public schools will make the difference needed to transform the Nigeria nation.”
Ogbemudia immediately directed that the old uniform of Ekhator; the boy who invented blender and tricycle be changed for him, as she awarded him scholarship up to the university level. It was disclosed that he had since lost his father.
