Hon. Stewart Efe Expresses Gratitude to Obaseki, Egor People for Opportunity to Serve.

It was amid pomp and pageantry that the former leaders and members of All Progressives Congress (APC), now of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) in Egor Local Government Area of Edo state welcomed Hon. Stewart Efe, former Commissioner for Communication and Orientation in Governor Godwin Obaseki’s first tenure to their warm embrace recently. The former Commissioner took his thank you visit to the former leaders and members of the APC now members of the PDP in Egor local government area to show appreciation and thank them for the unflinching support given to him throughout his tenure as Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Edo state.
The joy and excitement knew no bounds as the leaders, men, women and youths trooped out en masse, singing and dancing in admiration of Hon. Stewart Efe for his good stewardship and excellent representation of Egor local government area in the state executive council. According to Stewart Efe, Governor Godwin Obaseki is his leader, father and mentor, stressing that he came back to the leaders and people of Egor to say thank you for their support and opportunity given to him by the Governor to serve in the prestigious cabinet as a member of the state executive council. He noted that this was the first time a grassroots politician was appointed and represented, to serve in the state executive council and was happy to serve with a technocrat like Godwin Obaseki.
” I want to appreciate my people for all the support given to me which culminated in my success as Commissioner for Communication and Orientation “, he said. He expressed gratitude to Governor Godwin Obaseki, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, Deputy Governor and Barr. Osarodion Ogie, Secretary to the state government and other leaders of the PDP in the state for the privilege to serve as Commissioner for Communication and Orientation. Hon. Efe also thanked the leaders and people of Egor for the confidence reposed in Governor Godwin Obaseki which made them to move with him to the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ).
The former APC chairman for Egor local government area, now a member of the PDP, Chief Odion Olaye who received the former Commissioner on behalf of the leaders and people of Egor commended the former Commissioner for being a good ambassador of the PDP in Egor local government area and prayed for him and his success in future endeavours. Chief Olaye also prayed for Governor Godwin Obaseki, that the Almighty God will continue to grant him good health, long life and success in all his endeavours. He mentioned that good ambassadors of the local government area will always show appreciation for all kind gestures.
Other former leaders of the APC, now members of the PDP in the local government area showered encomiums on Hon. Stewart Efe, noting that this was the first time a Commissioner who represented the area will come back to appreciate the people for the support and opportunity given him to serve. They said that this was a new political turn around for a man like Stewart Efe who performed creditably as Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, who they described as a man who appreciates and never expected to become a Commissioner due to the intrigues in the appointment of Commissioners in the state. But that Governor Godwin Obaseki and the Almighty God made it possible.
