As customary in many climes of the world, just like individuals; corporate bodies would also celebrate the end of a year in whatever way and manner chosen in gratitude to God, evaluating the immediate past, recounting achievement and projecting into the future.
It was in that custom and tradition; the management of E.M.T Water, Afikpo, in Ebonyi State, marked the end of year 2025 and the beginning of the year 2026 with a lot of fun fairs.
Looking back at the journey of two years of being in the business of portable water production and sales; the management last December hosted its workers, esteem customers, partners and the regulatory bodies to a lavish social gathering.

Addressing the gathering, the Managing Director, Mrs. Goodnews Agha acknowledged the challenges that have confronted E.M.T Water in the past two years, describing the moment as a special one to pause and celebrate what she termed: “our collective achievement.
“Looking back at the past two years of our existence, we have so much to be proud of despite numerous challenges we have been facing.
“Within these years, E.M.T has been able to acquire additional new machines and has also improved on our logistics for better services.
“These milestones were not reached by the management alone but through a collective effort and dedication of everyone here.

“To our indefatigable workers, we say thank you, my gratitude goes to our esteemed customers, partners and the regulatory bodies for the trust you have in us; and I hope that we will continue to accompany, support each other; and collaborate for mutual development in the nearest future.
“I also thank the host community for creating an enabling environment for the company to invest with peace of mind.”
Looking ahead to attaining greater feats in the journey of year 2026, the management asserted; “we see a future full of potentials and opportunities.
“So today, let’s wine and dine while celebrating the amazing team that made it happen!
“Cheers to a successful year behind us and a brighter one ahead!”
Earlier, the Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Igwe Iroh while delivering his welcome address, thanked God for sustaining E.M.T Water in the past two years amidst daunting challenges.
As he poured praises on the management for striving to maintain best practices and approved standards of production.
Also speaking, the Chairperson of Afikpo Local Government Council Area, Mrs. Desire Uduma, and Secretary, Pure Water Producing Company, Ebonyi State Chapter, Donatus Okom commended the management for putting together the gathering.
They also admonished award recipients not to deviate from their good works that qualified them for the honour.
There was a paper presentation on the importance of water by Sunday Kalu, medical checkup, and road walk as part of the programme to mark the day.
The event was graced by many important personalities; captain of industries, traditional rulers, politicians, top civil servants amongst whom was Ichie Sunday kalu Ama of the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital, Uselu, Benin- City.
