I have said it before. The success of Godfatherism in Lagos State, is a proof that the majority of “Lagosians” are politically primitive. 
This kind of cult followership and support for a man like Tinubu cannot happen in other more civilized parts of the nation. If not for the privilege of being the commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos would have been the most backward state in Nigeria because of the slave mentality of its indigenous people.

Such cannot happen here. And it has never ever happened in our several centuries of rich history. One man cannot be playing landlord and every one else playing cowards behind him, and happily doing so, for whatever parochial or diabolic reason. Dem never born am yet.
I am also wondering whether this slave mentality is perculiar to Lagos alone or if it is a Yoruba thing. I hope it is not a Yoruba thing.
