Edo Ministry of Women Affairs partners BBN Season 10 Star to enhance awareness of Govt initiatives

Edo State Government has expressed its readiness to partner with Ivie Sabrina Idukpaye; the only participant from the State, at the Housemate Big Brother Naija (BBN) Season 10.

The State Government through the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Eugenia Abdallah made the expression which she said was to enhance public awareness of the Ministry’s initiatives, and advance women-focused programmes across the State.

Idukpaye was at the Ministry on a courtesy visit which the Commissioner described as timely and significant.

Daisy Osunde, the director of media in the Ministry made the disclosure in a press release and availed journalists in Benin.

While warmly welcoming the BBN Season 10 Housemate, Abdallah emphasized the Ministry’s openness to collaborate with young, relatable voices who can effectively engage and inspire younger women, Daisy said.

Such partnerships are crucial in amplifying the Ministry’s projects, increase visibility for its programmes, and encourage broader participation in its social development initiatives, the Commissioner said.

As the Government firmly believes in harnessing innovation, youth-driven advocacy, and strategic collaborations as key pillars for sustainable social development, she was further quoted to have asserts.

Continuing, she reportedly commended Idukpaye for her sense of purpose, leadership, and willingness to leverage her influence for the greater good of humanity.

While she expressed confidence that the collaboration would not only strengthen the visibility and impact of the Ministry’s programmes, but would also inspire greater participation, foster long-term empowerment, and create meaningful opportunities for women and girls in the State.

In her remarks, the BBN Season 10 Housemate asserts that her visit was part of her homecoming, and that she was dedicated to using her national platform to drive positive social impact.

Hence her commitment to partnering with the Ministry to support initiatives that empower women, advance education and create opportunities for young girls across the State.
