Peter Guobadia, a 53 year old United States of America deportee mentally challenged, has been rescued by the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
Guobadia was found wandering along Airport Road in Benin City, the State Capital in a state of severe mental distress; and taking up its responsibility, the Ministry provided urgent medical care, and reunited him with the family.
Beyond politics, his exemplary leadership, humility, and passion for the development of society have earned him the respect and admiration of people across all divides.
As he marks another year of God’s abundant blessings, we celebrate a distinguished son of Edo State whose life and service continue to impact countless lives positively.
