In continuation of its drive for increased infrastructural growth and development, the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the reconstruction of the Effurun Roundabout down to the NPA Road; a major transport corridor critical to movement, commerce and economic activities in the State, reports said.
The project is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen critical infrastructure and improve connectivity across Delta State under the MORE Agenda, it was stated.
According to the Government, reconstruction of the road corridor which it says is strategic, is expected to ease transportation challenges, support businesses and enhance economic growth within the Warri and Effurun locality.
As it noted that the route serves as an important link for commuters, traders, transport operators and other economic stakeholders, making it vital to commercial activities in the area.
The approval it was asserted, further reflects Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to delivering infrastructure projects aimed at improving the living conditions of residents; while driving sustainable development across the State.
The project when completed, is also expected to boost traffic flow, improve accessibility and support industrial and port-related activities connected to the NPA corridor, the Government was quoted to have explained.
