The Edo State Government hereby announces for the information of the general public, the immediate closure of the following schools in Akoko Edo Local Government Area with immediate effect and until further notice: 1. Ososo Grammar School, Ososo 2. Ososo Comprehensive High School, Ososo 3. Makeke Secondary School, Makeke

“Every child deserves love, quality education, healthcare, protection and the opportunity to dream without limitations. "We must continue to create an environment where no child is left behind and where the voices, rights and wellbeing of children remain a priority.”

But notably, in the southern zone of the State; aftermath of the consensus arrangement if not well managed, will definitely deal a devastating blow to the wellbeing of the Party not only in the 2027 election, but future elections like the governorship.

We further urge all aspirants and their supporters to embrace issue-based engagement and uphold the values of unity, mutual respect, and internal democracy, as the strength of the party remains our collective responsibility. Party primaries are not won by threats, blackmail or entitlement. They are won by relationships, respect and the ability to genuinely appeal to party leaders and members.

The Commissioner narrates; that Akpaduma had alleged he initially applied to adopt a child through the orphanage and was made to pay the sum of ₦250,000 as a processing fee.  He was later asked to pay an additional ₦1 million before the child could be released to him. This was further trailed by a prolonged delay after which he was allegedly informed that the adoption fee had been increased to ₦2 million by the State ministry.

"We particularly commend the Christian faithful for their steadfast prayers and moral guidance, which remain invaluable to nation-building and social stability.  "The values symbolized by Easter; sacrifice, renewal, hope, and victory should continue to guide our individual and collective actions."
